Description:
The Robot Retro IPS power regular board for Game Boy DMG-01 is a modern upgrade for the original power board, which helps to solve the issues of unstable power when using an IPS screen.
Please note this board will only work with an IPS type screen and is not suitable for the original display.
The board also helps to reduce noise in the audio and will support 2 cell lipo mods.
The audio hum is reduced with the use of high quality aluminium capacitors which act as a filter, removing unwanted static noise from the speaker.
To install, simply de-solder the original power regulator wires and solder them in the exact same order, the new IPS power regular has the red wire location clearly marked.
Requires internal fitting and soldering, difficulty level low to medium, can only be used with an IPS type screen. Compatible with Game Boy OG original consoles DMG-01 only.
