Description:
Easily convert an old DS Lite console to a Game Boy Macro with this thin PCB that enables the bottom screen when the top screen has been removed. This easy install PCB requires seven to nine solder points (depending if installing stereo speakers) and will allow the DS Lite to operate from the lower screen only. This mod provides the option of having a single speaker mono or two speaker stereo setup, with good sized solder pads for the speaker wires to attach.
To install this part you should ideally use flux and a finer tip soldering iron (not included), and add a small amount of solder to the mounting points to aid the install, you can then place the thin PCB macro enabler into position and reflow the solder with your iron to secure into place.
Please note: This will not amplify the sound on the Macro, if you are looking for an Amp please look at the Helder Game Tech Macro Amp.
Requires some technical fitting to install including soldering, the thin PCB comes pre-populated with the resistors, making installation much easier, no need to solder the tiny resistors, the speaker pads also make attaching wires easier.
