Description:
Replacing a failed, damaged or missing capacitor may restore power to your controller. This is a 47uf tantalum capacitor for the Wii remote, it is found in location C49 on the controllers mainboard, close to the battery terminal.
Two capacitors are supplied, enough to refurbish two Wii remotes, one capacitor is needed per controller.
Capacitor specification is a 476J 47uf 6.3V tantalum.
A reasonable level of soldering ability are required to install the replacement capacitors. The console must be opened to install, take note of the polarity, the capacitor needs to be fitted with the stripe going to the positive symbol which is marked on the circuit board on the left of the capacitor.
A Philips #00 and Tri-wing security screwdriver are required to open the console (Not included).
Soldering iron, solder & desoldering braid required to fit capacitors, (not included).
